ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) ? President Barack Obama is accusing Republican rival Mitt Romney of promoting "trickle-down tax cut fairy dust" that he says would take the nation in the wrong direction.
Campaigning in Florida, Obama is tackling Romney's economic plan for the second straight day, telling supporters that it would give tax cuts to the wealthy at the expense of more modest earners.
The president again pointed to an outside group's report that concluded that Romney's plan would force many Americans to give up popular tax deductions and shift the tax burden from wealthy to low- and middle-class taxpayers.
Obama says Republicans have pushed tax cuts before. He says, quote, it "didn't work then and it won't work now."
